YG Entertainment has announced that it will take a strong stance against rumors about BLACKPINK's Rosé involving drugs

On April 4th, BLACKPINK's agency, YG Entertainment, told Newsen that «the rumors circulating about BLACKPINK's Rosé in certain online communities and social media are clearly false.»


«We are taking legal action against actions that violate human rights and defame our artists,» he said, adding, «We are currently monitoring those who create and spread rumors, and we will take decisive action without any priority or agreement in the future.»

On the 13th, rumors spread in China that BLACKPINK's Rosé had taken drugs. Chinese entertainment media Sina Entertainment News also reported on the alleged drug use by Rosé.

Earlier, a former creative director of a brand shared a photo of him having fun with several people, including Rosé. Seeing the photo, some Chinese users pointed out a black-and-white ashtray on the table and raised suspicions of drug use, and the rumor quickly spread on social media.
