BTS' Jimin, Kodak Black and Other Top Artists Collaborate for 'Fast X' Soundtrack 'Angel Part 1'

In a surprise announcement, the upcoming soundtrack for the highly anticipated movie Fast X has been revealed as Angel Part 1, and what's even more exciting is the collaboration of many popular artists like BTS' Jimin, Kodak Black, JVKE, NLE Choppa, and Muni Long. The preview of the song was released today, and fans are thrilled and curious to know what kind of music they can expect from this unique collaboration.

Traditionally, the Fast and Furious franchise involves rappers like Offset, ASAP Rocky, and Wiz Khalifa for their adrenaline-fueled songs, but this time they have mixed it up by involving a variety of artists. Among them, only NLE Choppa has been a part of the movie's previous track titled Speed It Up.


The movie, Fast X, is the tenth main installment in the franchise and the sequel to F9 (2021). The story follows Dom Toretto, played by Vin Diesel, in his quest to protect his loved ones from Cipher, who has joined forces with Dante Reyes. The film features a star-studded cast, including Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris «Ludacris» Bridges, Jordana Brewster, John Cena, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Scott Eastwood, Michael Rooker, Charlize Theron, Jason Statham, Cardi B, Jason Momoa, Daniela Melchior, Brie Larson, Alan Ritchson, and Rita Moreno.


This collaboration is a significant milestone for Jimin of BTS, who has been constantly charting on Billboard's Hot 100 for four weeks with his title track, Like Crazy, and his album Face has reached 344,402,750 streams on Spotify. By lending his voice to a Hollywood movie, he will be one of the first Korean artists to achieve this feat, and it's expected that this collaboration will introduce him to many non-fans.

Angel Part 1 will be available on all music platforms on May 18, 2023. Fans of the Fast and Furious franchise and the collaborating artists are eagerly awaiting its release.
